Rotary Club of Slidell provided volunteers in preparation for and on the day of the Community Thanksgiving Dinner held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

Eighteen volunteers from the Rotary Club of Slidell donated approximately 30 hours to assist with the Community-wide Thanksgiving Day Dinner held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church.  For more than 20 years, volunteers from various organizations have worked together to cook, serve and deliver FREE meals and holiday cheer to the home-bound or needy on Thanksgiving Day 🧡🤎🧡

Members and their guests prepped turkeys, picked meat off turkeys, and cut pies in the days preceding Thanksgiving, and boxed and delivered meals to individuals and families in Eastern St. Tammany on Thursday.  More than 1500 meals were prepared!!
